EFFECTIVE AUGUST 7, 2026
Privacy Policy
PartCraft is designed to help musicians practice without turning their practice room into a data source. This policy describes the first public release of the PartCraft iPhone and iPad app.
Data collection
PartCraft does not collect personal data in version 1. There are no accounts, advertising identifiers, analytics SDKs, third-party trackers, or cloud storage services in the app.
Microphone
Microphone access begins only when you choose live practice. Audio samples are analyzed in memory on your device to estimate pitch and volume. They are not recorded, retained, uploaded, or shared.
Camera, Photos, and Files
The app accesses the camera, a selected photo, or a selected MusicXML file only after you choose that action. Imported music and derived notes are stored locally on your device. PartCraft does not upload this content.
Practice history
Scores, durations, settings, and imported pieces are saved locally so the app can display progress. Deleting the app removes this local data. A future cloud-sync release will require an updated policy and separate disclosure.
Children
PartCraft does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because version 1 collects no personal data, it does not provide accounts, messaging, behavioral advertising, or public profiles.
Contact
Questions or deletion requests can be sent to privacy@partcraftmusic.com. Because version 1 keeps data on device, users can remove it by deleting the app.
